Dr. Watkins is among the nation's leading Prosthodontists, authors and speakers in the field of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Having received his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, followed by a certificate in Prosthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Watkins completed a Fellowship in Advanced Implant Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Watkins, a frequent contributor to The Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry (JIACD) and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Washington, DC and McLean, VA. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association, among other professional organizations. Dr. Watkins serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Prosthodontics, is a National Spokes Person for the National Dental Association and serves as a clinical evaluator for Gordon Christensen’s Clinician’s Report Newsletter. In addition, he is a co-founder of the DC and Virginia Millennium Dental Study Clubs and a Synergy Training Program Mentor and speaker for Biomet 3i.
Dr. Watkins is a sixth generation Washingtonian and resides in Washington, DC with his wife, Natasha and twins Benjamin IV and Nadia.
